Country singer born and raised in the the city of Sydney. Who would have thought?
Arna Georgia grew up in the suburb of Sans Souci, just 20 minutes away from Sydney’s CBD, quickly taking a liking to the stage, she has spent the last 10 years studying singing, dance and acting, obtaining a certificate IV in performance, a Bachelor of Music majoring in Music Theatre and most recently graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in early 2016, where she was mentored by a number of leading Australian Country Music artists and industry professionals.
Since graduating from the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Arna Georgia has spent the last few years performing at a number of country music festivals including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Bluewater Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster and Americanafest in Nashville (2016). Thought 2017, Arna joined Amber Lawrence and Cathering Britt on the Southern NSW leg of their ‘Love and Lies’ Tour and spent the remainder of the year and beginning of 2018 opening for Amber Lawrence and Travis Collins on their ‘Our Backyard’ Tour.
In November of 2017, Arna Georgia joined Bill Chambers as special guest and band member for a 17 show tour of the United States, in which they past through 23 states and played a number of venues, house concerts and the Meraki Fest in Fort Wayne. Arna Georgia has also joined Bill on a tour around Victoria and South Australia in September last year.
She is currently on tour with Brisbane based singer-songwriter Hayley Marsten, having played shows in NSW and VIC and off to QLD late October.
Arna Georgia’s debut record ‘Midnight Carousel’ was released August 2017, debuting at #2 on the iTunes Country charts and at #19 across all genres. The record gained airplay around Australia and the debut single and video clip entered the CMC charts at #43. The record, produced by Bill Chambers included 7 tracks with songs co-written with Bill Chambers himself and the title track co-written with Catherine Britt. Highly influenced by the Carter Family, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, the record has a unique, raw and traditional country sound.

Arna Georgia having been writing all year round in both Nashville (Feb) and Australia is looking forward to heading in to the studio in March next year and begin recording her debut 12 track album.
