Country singer born and raised in the the city of Sydney. Who would have thought?
Arna Georgia grew up in the suburb of Sans Souci, just 20 minutes away from Sydney’s CBD, quickly taking a liking to the stage, she has spent the last 10 years studying singing, dance and acting, obtaining a certificate IV in performance, a Bachelor of Music majoring in Music Theatre and most recently graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in early 2016, where she was mentored by a number of leading Australian Country Music artists and industry professionals.
Since graduating from the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Arna Georgia has spent the last few years performing at a number of country music festivals including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Bluewater Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster and Americanafest in Nashville (2016).
Throughout her time in the industry, Arna Georgia has opened shows for a number of artists including Catherine Britt, Amber Lawrence and Bill Chambers and has joined by Amber Lawrence and Travis Collins on their ‘Our Backyard’ Tour and Bill Chambers as special guest and band member around Australia as well as a 17 show tour of the USA in which they played a number of venues, house concerts and the Meraki Fest in Fort Wayne.
Arna Georgia’s debut record ‘Midnight Carousel’ was released August 2017, debuting at #2 on the iTunes Country charts and at #19 across all genres. The record gained airplay around Australia and the debut single and video clip entered the CMC charts at #43. The record, produced by Bill Chambers included 7 tracks with songs co-written with Bill Chambers himself and the title track co-written with Catherine Britt. Highly influenced by the Carter Family, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, the record has a unique, raw and traditional country sound.

Arna Georgia set out on her first co-headlining tour with Brisbane based singer-songwriter Hayley Marsten in 2018, which took them to NSW, VIC and QLD and spanned over 3 months. The Tour ‘Tour With No Name’ saw Marsten and Georgia sell out all of their QLD shows and create a loyal and strong fan base throughout the country.
After beginning the year as a Toyota Starmaker Grandfinalist at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Arna Georgia has certainly begun 2019 on the right foot, and looks forward to heading back to the USA and in to the studio with producer Nash Chambers to begin working on and recording her debut full length album which is set for release in June 2019.
